Every reading decomposes — family, indicator, sub-index, direction, magnitude. You can follow any number back to the thing that caused it and stop wherever you are satisfied.

When the inputs conflict, the confidence falls and says so. Conflict is information about the state of the cycle; averaging it into a clean number is the one thing that destroys it.

What it runs on

You bring the source data. The terminal reads it, versions it, and recomputes every page from the same origin — so the number on the dashboard is the number in the export.

One origin, everything downstream. The lattice at the top of this page is 2,210 values on its own, and every one of them comes from the same run as the number on the dashboard — there is no second pipeline for presentation, which is the usual place for two figures to start disagreeing.

Built by the people who needed it

Former options traders and mathematicians. This terminal is the tool we wanted and could not buy.

The desk

The work that decides a position happens before the position exists — reading the cycle, ranking the names, structuring the trade. For years that work meant spreadsheets, browser tabs and a lot of retyping.

The mathematics

Calibration is not a matter of taste. Which direction an input carries, how it is scaled against its own history, what it is worth beside the others — each has an answer you can get wrong. So we treated it that way.

The path

We built this for ourselves first and still run it that way. Every reading on this page is an export from the instance we use — not a demonstration dataset assembled for a website.

How you get it

By approval

Blue Eagle is a Windows application you install and run on your own machine — not a website you log into. Your data stays on your disk; the account exists to hold your license and, if you switch it on, a backup of your trade inventory.

SEC.12 · QUESTIONS

Answered briefly

No. It places no orders and makes no recommendations. It prepares data, classifies against the ITPM ruleset, and shows how each classification was reached so you can disagree with it.

One row per indicator family, one column per month, 18 years wide. Each cell is that family's standardised state in that month — green risk-on, red risk-off, and the stronger the reading the brighter the cell. The line beneath is the families combined. It is an export from the running engine, not a mock-up, and it is historical rather than a forecast.

Yes — a 5-month centred mean, and it is worth saying so plainly. The structure the grid exists to show lives in the low frequency; unsmoothed, month-to-month flicker buries it. The smoothed series is what the readout figures are taken from as well, so the number beside the grid is the number in the cell.

Because the argument is about structure, not inventory. Grouped rows make the vertical bands legible, and the specific input list is not something a public page needs to publish.

From source files you maintain. The terminal reads them, recognises each one, and versions the state — there is no automatic external feed for the macro layer, by design. What you put in is what it reasons over.

The position monitor works from what you record. A live broker view requires a workstation on the same machine and is not reachable from a server, so it is deliberately absent rather than half-built.
